The best interests of the child(ren) are paramount in all matters regarding the child(ren). As an officer of the Court, it is my duty to assist the Court in this regard and as such, from the outset, I need to state that I will not entertain any matter where the best interests of the child(ren) do not carry 1^st priority, which of course includes child maintenance matters and parental plans. Furthermore, the Court will not grant a decree of divorce where the Family Advocate has not endorsed the parental plan.
