In in answer to a higher calling of “righting the wrongs”, I have recently relocated to Jeffreys Bay (from Johannesburg) with a specific instruction to “protect against abuse”. TVR LAW is the vehicle through which I humbly strive to achieve this.

Over the past 54 years I have worked incredibly hard to establish my name, honour and reputation as being honest, hardworking and living with integrity.

Integrity means doing the right thing even when nobody is watching. The theme of integrity runs like a golden thread throughout all the text provided on this website.

In this context “protect against abuse” might refer to physical, emotional or economic/financial abuse, but it also includes protection against the abuse of the legal system culminating in exorbitant legal costs and unnecessary time delays. The practical effect thus being that access to justice has been tainted. Over time, this has led to a general perception that justice belongs to those who can afford it.

In this regard it is my commitment to my clients to keep my fees reasonable and to find the most cost and time effective legal avenue in the resolution of their legal issues. Where and if necessary I will further address the cost implications in the event where the opponent or his/her representative unduly/unwarranted addresses the legal issue resulting in unnecessary cost or time implications.

As I am passionate about community development, I pledge 10% of my time to community service.
